Children meet and learn about robots
Students, parents and teachers from Bulimba State School visited the ARC Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision (The Centre) at QUT, Gardens Point Campus. The Centre is the world’s first centre that focuses on creating robots that can see.

Term 1 starts tomorrow
Term 4 starts tomorrow and we want to send a big thank you to all the schools, libraries and organisations that we have worked with us this year. The Coding Kids team is looking forward to finishing the year off with a bang.

Gold Coast Code Camp Models a Minion
Can you make a 3D minion? You would be surprised by how easy it is! During our four-day school holiday code camp on the Gold Coast, one of the activities that we did was modelling a printable 3D minion. We made it using Microsoft 3D Builder — a program that comes with Windows 10. Really, anyone can model a minion — read all about it here!

Coding at Fun Palace - State Library of Queensland
Every year the State Library of Queensland hosts Fun Palace, a world wide celebration of arts and sciences, in Brisbane.
We delivered two activities at Fun Palace: “Build your first computer game” workshop & Dance Dance Revolution - Makey Makey installation.

A virtual reality adventure for kids
These September school holidays a group of Coding Kids students visited Holoverse to experience and learn about virtual reality technology. Holoverse is a virtual reality adventure arcade in Southport on the Gold Coast.
